My Qualifications: I hold 3 active teaching licenses, a Master’s degree in Reading, a Bachelor’s degree in English and Education, and over 14 years of teaching experience. I work actively in schools and organizations; you can be sure that you are trusting the right person with your child.
- Licensed Reading Specialist, Grades K-12, with experience teaching all ages in the five components of reading
- Licensed English Teacher, Grades 5-8 and Grades 9-12
- Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsed

- Barton Reading & Spelling System Tutor & Interventionist for Orton Gillingham-Based interventions for dyslexia.
- Trained, own, and utilize the Barton System Levels with fidelity on the online Whizzimo teaching Platform.
- Expert level online instructor in Zoom.
- Instructional Designer in all content areas designing, developing, and refining a variety of modern curricula resources.
What I Do
- Virtually tutor children, teenagers, and adults in all areas of literacy
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic reading evaluations as an outside contractor for schools and privately for families.
- Assess reading abilities and plan personalized instruction and curriculum.
- Work with parents to communicate effectively with schools about their child.
